It is a global leader in creating and launching disruptive companies in the impact sector among youth worldwide. It has created sectors, built momentum, and most importantly - unlocked infinite possibility for the world's next generation of entrepreneurs. The theme for this year’s challenge is:<strong> Building Startups That Have A Positive Impact On Our Planet With Every Dollar Earned.</strong> It challenges teams globally to build bold businesses that have a positive net impact on the environment with every sale completed, dollar earned and decision made to reach no fewer than a million consumers within a decade.</p> <p><figure class="image" style="float:left"><img alt="judges of the hult prize competition" height="480" src="/sites/default/files/judge%202.png" width="480" /><br /> <figcaption>Judges at the Hult prize competition at the ¸£Àû¼§</figcaption><br /> </figure></p> <p>The ¸£Àû¼§ OnCampus Program is directed by Ms. Annett Bonuke, a final year student from the University  Of Nairobi School Of Law. It officially began on 8<sup>th</sup> November 2019 with Dr. Richard Munang, the Africa’s Regional Climate Change Coordinator officially inaugurating the Program. Previous sessions leading to the culmination of the Hult Prize at the ¸£Àû¼§ OnCampus Program included: Team Dynamics and Leadership Skills by Ms. Shali Shambi-Senior Presales Engineer at SAP Africa; Designing Thinking and Idea Validation by Mr. Robert Yawe-Managing Director at Synaptech Solutions; Developing Business Models and Strategy by Mr. Francis Thairo-Industry Value Engineer at SAP Africa; Pitching Training and Simulation Exercise by Ms. Keko Naisula – Senior Education Account Executive at SAP Africa and Preliminaries.</p> <p>On 6<sup>th</sup> December 2019, registered teams had a chance to pitch their startup ideas before a panel of distinguished judges that included: Mr. Robert Yawe-Managing Director at Synaptech Technologies; Ms. Viridiana Wasike-CEO &amp; Founder of Accelevate Leads Limited; Mr. Eugene Anangwe-CEO of TV 47 Kenya and Ms. Sonia Kabra-Co Founder &amp; Director at Buupass, for a chance to represent the ¸£Àû¼§ at the regionals happening in different cities across different regions all over the world.</p> <p>The Winner of the first ever Hult Prize OnCampus Program at the ¸£Àû¼§ is <strong>Team Jijue</strong> from Chiromo Campus. The team comprises of Deepa Ranpara, Savannah Zawadi, Felix Mburu and Khulud Nurani. The<a name="_GoBack" id="_GoBack"></a> Team’s winning idea is the creation of Jijue App, a self-diagnostic application. Jijue app is an affordable, confidential and reliable means of self-testing which diagnoses 5 deadly diseases-Malaria, HIV &amp; AIDS, Chlamydia, Hepatitis B and Gonorrhea.
