The global commemoration of theÌýWorldÌýAIDSÌýDayÌýis on December 1, 2020. TheÌýdayÌýis dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDSÌýand is in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to complications of HIV.

The ¸£Àû¼§ will hold a virtual event on December 1, 2020 from 9.00 AM to 11.00AM. The chief guest is the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama.

Prof. Aggrey O. Anzala,ÌýDirector of KAVI – ICR,Ìýwill give the keynote address, while Dr. Loice A. Ombajo, Physician and Infectious Disease Specialist, will make a presentation on COVID-19.

This year’s theme is: ‘Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility’
